If you have a treadmill or stationary bike, watch your favorite series while raising your heart rate. Or do jumping jacks during the commercial breaks.
Working out and eating healthy go hand-in-hand. Nutrition is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. Women specifically need folic acid every day.
With all these steps taken prioritizing your physical health, it’s just as important to keep your mind sharp, too. Research shows that positive mental health is associated with improved health. Make time to unwind, connect with others or recognize when you may need help. If stress gets in the way of your daily activities for several days in a row, talk to an elder or trusted healthcare professional in your community.
